Description
Rapid political shifts have alternatively favoured liberal approaches aimed at 'diverting' some juvenile delinquents from the criminal justice system and conservative (more punitive) approaches to dealing with juveniles. The authors look at a range of programmes that reflect these political changes, and examine how they have worked in practice.
