内容説明
This publication contains 54 papers that provide a range of information about developments and trends in using teleconferencing for meetings, training and marketing functions in a number of sectors - business, education, health care and government. The papers address topics of key importance to teleconferencing, which involves the use of interactive audio, audiographic, video or computer systems for electronic group communications. Included are a variety of case study applications that examine teleconferencing from a user's perspective. Other papers describe developments in technology or discuss factors critical to successful implementation, training and usage. Except for the introductory paper, they were selected from three collections of papers compiled by the Center for Interactive Programs, University of Winsconsin-Extension, and printed in conjunction with conferences held in 1980, 1982 and 1983. Altogether, those three collections contain nearly 200 papers on teleconferencing and electronic communications. The book includes over 20 case study applications.
