This book gives a comprehensive description of methods for the diagnosis of bacterial diseases of plants, especially those of economic importance throughout the world, and the identification of the bacteria that cause them. The methods are those used by the Agricultural Development and Advisory Service of MAFF and by the National Collection of Plant Pathogenic Bacteria, and have been successfully proved over many years.
