内容説明

This volume, a title in the Society for Applied Bacteriology Technical Series, contains the papers presented at the Demonstration Meeting on Industrial Microbiology Testing, held at the Thames Polytechnic in 1985. The venture was the outcome of an expressed desire by members of the Society for Applied Bacteriology and the Institute of Petroleum's Microbiology Group to hold a joint meeting which would appeal to delegates in both organizations.

目次

  • Methods for assessing the efficacy of fungicides for wood and wood products
  • Mould growth testing of materials, components and equipment to national and international standards
  • Microbiological testing of textile materials
  • Biocide tests on algal and fungal growths on solid substrates
  • Biocide tests on algal suspensions isolated from stonework
  • Bacterial barrier properties of textiles
  • A method for the determination of enzymatic activity of microbial films on surfaces
