Description
The concordance is based on the standard edition of the Confessio Amantisby George Campbell Macaulay, whose text is well known for its accuracy and fullness in quoting the three versions of the poem. J.D. Pickles has supplied a traditional concordance - `key-word in line context' -for this massive work and added frequency lists, a reverse index, a rhyme index, and other features intended to increase the value of the book not only to specialistsin 14th-century literature, but to historians of the language and ideas.
