Description and Table of Contents

Description

This collection of five articles by leading authorities provides the first comprehensive review of LSR compounds in the context of stereochemical analysis. It illustrates their application in determining the configuration of organic compounds. The authors discuss computer-aided approaches to elucidating the geometry of LSR-substrate complexes, show solutions of complex stereochemical problems, and present the new and successful reagent class of Ag(I)Ln(III) diketonate complexes. Other subjects of current interest are stereochemical analyses of diastereotopic groups, ring conformations, bridged polycyclic compounds, and deuterium labeling.
