内容説明
Supernova 1987A was the brightest supernova explosion since the invention of the telescope, and consequently the observations are of great interest in astronomy. This book collects seventy papers, which were presented at the Fourth George Mason Workshop on Astrophysics in late 1987. It provides a fascinating summary of the status of observations six months after the outburst, and will be of interest to all astronomers interested in this supernova.
