内容説明

This book offers penetrating studies of the Western European Communist parties and the ways in which they have coped with crisis and change, especially since 1968. Each of the contributors has first hand knowledge of the country on which they write, and many have been or are members of the parties they treat. Many of the parties are today in crisis as they attempt to adapt to changing circumstances, internal dissent, declining electoral performances and new relationships with the Soviet Union.
