This book describes the basics of both quantitative and qualitative NMR spectroscopy - focussing on those aspects which are widely used in industry and academic laboratories. An adequate theoretical background is provided - covering the NMR phenomena normally encountered. Applications such as instrumentation, sample preparation and handling, are then discussed. The text explores the interpretation of spectra and signal enhancement of the NMR spectrum. Finally a number of practical case studies involving the use of quantitative NMR are presented. The approach is 'user friendly' and self assessment questions enable the reader to test his/her understanding of each section.
