内容説明
The aim of this series is to provide a common ground between obstetricians and paediatricians, and to describe current practice in a way that is useful and relevant to both groups. The fourth volume presents current knowledge of parent-infant relationships with particular reference to the problems that may arise during the period immediately after birth in hospital, often where the first social encounters between parents and their children occur. The book shows how attitudes to social relationships within the hospital have changed in recent years and demonstrates the importance of recognising that the parent's role is as vital as nursing care to the infant's development.
