内容説明
The structural and functional integrity of skeletal muscle depends on its innervation; conversely, muscle cells have a major influence on the development of their motor nerve supply. This book covered the proceedings of a Ciba Foundation symposium on plasticity of the neuromuscular system, held at the Ciba Foundation, London, on 19th - 21st January 1988. Current research was made available on the mutual interaction between skeletal muscle fibre and motoneurons at all levels, from the physiological to the molecular. This work should be of interest not only to biologists and neurologists, but also biochemists, neurophysiologists and developmental neurobiologists.
