Description and Table of Contents
Description
The most frequent problems experienced by athletes are overuse injuries. This book contains information on the prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation of these injuries. Experts from the American Running and Fitness Association have provided specific, accurate information about such injuries as shoulder bursitis, shin splints, hamstring injuries, muscle cramps and ingrown toenails. Each injury is cross-referenced by the name of the injury, part of the body affected, and location of the pain. The book also features over 100 illustrations and contains specific exercise programmes for 10 sports.
