This book deals in narrative form with the effects of the Drug Trafficking Offences Act 1986 and the Criminal Justice Act 1987 on forfeiture of money and goods which may be the proceeds of crime. The wide-ranging new powers of the police are dealt with as are those of the Customs and Excise, courts and receivers and the responsibilities of those professional advisers, who may come upon evidence which suggests their clients hold the proceeds of crimes, as well as the practical effects of enforcement. The author has written "The Law Relating to Entry, Search and Seizure".
