The book contains the 38 invited papers presented in 11 symposia at the 47th International Congress of Pharmaceutical Sciences of the International Pharmaceutical Federation (F.I.P.), held in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 31 August - 4 September 1987. An up-to-date and informative volume - in principle of interest to all those dealing with drugs - with emphasis on the pharmaceutical aspects of drug research.
