Volume 9 of the successful Annuals includes articles from a wider range of sources than before. The editorial board were encouraged to take a catholic view of the field and consider work from non-traditional sources. The editors felt that one of the great strengths of evaluation is its multidisciplinary character, and they wanted to portray that through their selections.@Q

内容説明
Evaluation Studies Review Annuals are compilations of the most outstanding recent articles in evaluation. The editors of this volume present recent thinking about the nature of problems in the field and potential solutions, while shedding light on the development of the sound theoretical base upon which evaluation now stands. Five fundamental problem areas are identified and specifically addressed: social programming, knowledge utilization, valuing, knowledge creation and evaluation practice. The contributors reflect the professional diversity of evaluation, representing areas such as philosophy, political science, sociology, medicine, education, policy analysis, economy and psychology.
