内容説明

This and its companion volume, "The Economics of Imperfect Competition and Employment", are about Joan Robinson, her impact on modern economics, her challenges and critiques and the advances made in the science and art of economics. These studies deal with four major waves in modern economics: imperfect competition, theory of employment, theory of growth and mathematization of economic theory. They cover Joan Robinson's ideas, themes and concerns, viewed from different perspectives by those who agree and disagree with her. Professor Fiewel is the author of more than fifteen books including "The Economics of a Socialist Enterprise", "The Soviet Quest for Economic Efficiency" and "Industrialization Policy and Planning under Polish Socialism".
