In this dictionary parallel English and Spanish word-lists contain a total of 28,000 items from each language. The words are linked by number to the 384 picture sections, which are divided by subject to cover typical situations in everyday life including recreation and sport, flora and fauna, industry, the arts and technology. Every vocabulary item is indexed in English and Spanish so that the dictionary can be used in both directions. Differences between British English and American English are also recorded.
