Description
This study analyses household fertility behaviour and attempts to formulate and test several socio-economic hypotheses of fertility in India on the basis of data collected from the metropolitan city of Delhi.
Factorial investigations of thirty-four selected variables representing socio-economic, demographic and cultural variables highlight the relative significance of different factors in different aspects of fertility behaviour.
