内容説明

This textbook provides economics and business students with an analysis of the major traditional areas of Canadian public policy toward business: competition policy, regulation and public enterprise. In particular, the changes to the Competition Act 1986 are presented in detail, and the issues of deregulation and privatization are discussed. The book also contains an examination of international trade policy and the Canada-US Free Trade Agreement. Additional chapters explore environmental policy, stabilization policy and the role of fair play in public policy, stressing how these areas affect the Canadian business environment.
