Expelled from their homeland in 1731, the Lutheran Salzburgers established a colony in Georgia. These reports offer a firsthand account of their daily lives. Volume 17 supplies news about the Seven Years War as well as the Cherokee War, an Indian uprising in the Carolinas that began in 1760.
