Description
The press for improvement in American education forces both a reappraisal of and renewed attention to the political side of educational administration. Many of the reform initiatives have the potential or are explicitly designed to produce shifts in "who controls" various aspects of education. The chapters in the book were selected to look at the position of administrators from both a top-down and a bottom-up perspective.
