Description
This study aims to establish the attitudes, values and aspirations of British managers. The interviews were conducted in depth with men and women in both private and public sector organizations and explored their feelings about work and home to discover where their strongest allegiances lay. The report reveals that under increasing pressures at work and changing expectations at home, managers are fundamentally reluctant to fulfill the committed entrepreneurial roles that many have been allocating to them.
