This book, by an international forum of contributors, is the result of a conference organized by the Department of Economics of the University of Limburg and the European Production Study Group. The aim of the conference was to discuss papers on all aspects of labour market research, and to relate them to the unemployment situation in Europe. There are essays on labour supply and unemployment, demand for labour, unemploynment and the discrepancies on the labour market, wage formation and policy measures with respect to unemployment.
