Description and Table of Contents
Description
The focus of this book is on research about correlates and causes of criminal violence and remedial responses to such violence. The contributors scrutinize significant research topics such as drugs, alcohol, sexual violence, mental disorder, violence breeding violence, and the effects of criminal violence on victims. The editors review, assess and press beyond the research and theoretical accomplishments of the last two decades in order to stimulate renewed dialogue about how to most beneficially continue or redirect research, theoretical and policy efforts.
