This text relates the recent history and educational developments of Garth Hill School in Bracknell, Berkshire. In the first section of the book, the principal teacher of Garth Hill describes his educational reforms. His commentary provides illustrative material of the internal mechanics of the change process in education. The second section provides an analysis of the issues arising from the Garth Hill case study. Various kinds of teaching theory are outlined in order to illuminate the successful practices taking place at Garth Hill.
