The aim of this book is to use geometry as the main medium of exposition to take those with a basic knowledge of economics from an elementary application of that knowledge to the most recent developments in the field of inter and intra-industry international trade theory. A large part of the book is a corrected and extended version of "The Theory of International Trade" by the same author and includes three completely new chapters. Ali M. El-Agraa has also written "Trade Theory and Policy", "The Theory and Measurement of International Economic Development" and "Japan's Trade Frictions" among others.
