Description and Table of Contents

Description

This book looks at the treatment and management of the special problems associated with babies weighing under 1000 grams, which differ markedly from larger pre-term infants. These babies are surviving in much greater numbers and this book looks at all medical, nursing, emotional, ethical and other disorders, from diagnosis in the pregnancy at risk, through labour and post-natally. The book is aimed at all those with responsibility for low birth weight babies, particularly neonatologists, paediatricians and senior neonatal nurses.
