Classical Greek text with English introduction and summaries
Description and Table of Contents
Description
This book offers some 800-850 lines of the 'Anabasis' in Greek with English summaries of the intervening passages to give an idea of the whole of Xenophon's exciting adventure. Notes at the foot of each page assist with content and language, and a consolidated vocabulary which assumes only basic grammatical knowledge.
The book was specifically designed to offer a number of reasonably self-contained prescriptions for GCSE to replace the old 'blue Macmillan' editions of individual books.
