内容説明

This work is heavily based on the author's own practical experience and is aimed at beginners in Doppler echocardiography who are reasonably experienced in the imaging aspects of cardiac ultrasound and who understand the basics of cardiac anatomy, physiology and pathology. He has tried to keep technical matters as simple as possible and includes practical points which often arise in working discussions but which are frequently omitted from more formal texts. The author has tried to highlight points which newcomers find difficult to understand, while the qualitative techniques relevant to practical clinical problems are explained and the bibliography is broken down into subject groupings. The work should prove equally valuable to cardiologists and everyone concerned with this subject.
