Description and Table of Contents

Description

The successful introduction of Integrated Services Digital Networks (ISDN) is dependent on the success of two distinct aspects: the technology, and the commercial/business considerations. Accordingly, after a survey of developments and issues, the research presented in this book is divided into two main sections - one section covering current developments in ISDN technology, the other discussing service and marketing aspects relevant to future users of ISDN. The title of the book reflects the dichotomy: both technology and user demands are vital factors in business plans and European policies for the use of ISDN.
