内容説明

Franz Jung was involved in expressionism and Berlin Dada and was active for a while in left-radical politics in the early years of the Weimar Republic until he became disillusioned. While acknowledging the differences between Jung's various periods, this study also attempts to show the many continuities in his works. In addition to discussing their literary merit, this study also shows that Jung's works are of interest for their contributions to literary movements in Germany in the first decades of this century and because many are important documents of this time.

目次

Contents: This study looks at the whole corpus of Jung's works: Expressionism, Anarchism and Dada - The Revolutionary Years - The Years of Disillusionment - The Last Years. This first book-length study of Jung in English discusses the merit of Jung's works and their contribution to early twentieth century literary movements.
