Description
German reparations after World War II were the main bone of contention between the four powers in military occupation of the country and the fruits of their failure to agree are still with us in the division, first of Germany, then of Europe. This is a full-length account of German reparations after World War II from the British point of view, by one who took part in the quadripartite negotiations in Berlin that led up to the Reparations Plan of March 1946.
