Description
This study begins with a critical review of the debate on the role of terms of trade in relation to growth and equity. Using results derived from a computable general equilibrium model for India, the authors next analyse the relative impact of price and technology policies on changes in output, income distribution and the consumption of various classes in India's rural and urban sectors.
