Description
The contributors to this book assess the effects of various elements of care in pregnancy and childbirth by conducting overviews of data derived from all of the available controlled trials in which alternative forms of care have been formally evaluated. The analyses on which "Effective Care in Pregnancy and Childbirth" is based have also been published by OUP in electronic form as the "Oxford Database of Perinatal Trials".
