Identifying sacramentalism as the key to the poetry and spirituality of Gerard Manley Hopkins, this study suggests that Hopkins most dominantly emphasized the sacramental Mystical Body of the Church and that his poems aspire to see past the outscape of nature and humanity to revelations of spiritual inscape.
