内容説明

The immense impact that the decisions of the European Court of Justice have on the law of all the members of the European Community makes this comprehensive study of the Court an essential requirement for those in any way interested or involved in community law. Like its predecessors, this third edition is divided into four sections: organization and composition, functions and jurisdictions, procedure and practice and the Court as law-maker. The authors have substantially rewritten and updated the text, in particular to reflect the changes wrought by the introduction of the Court of First Instance. The text now contains an authoritative account of its composition, procedure and jurisdiction, together with a discussion of the complex division between the new court and the Court of Justice. The chapters on procedure and practice have been completely revised, and full account has been taken throughout of the accession of Spain and Portugal.
