Description
This book provides the practitoner with an explanation of procedure in the magistrates' court. Written as an authoritative working manual, it gives an account of proceedings, dealing in depth with the most important procedural aspects, and illustrates the rules of evidence. This new edition takes account of the major changes in magistrates' court work brought about by the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984, the Criminal Justice Act 1988, consolidating Road Traffic legislation and new Family Law statutes.
