内容説明
This volume reviews recent research which has revalued the role of dopamine in the pathogenesis of depression. It is the most up-to-date book on the subject, and covers recent advances including the effect of chronic treatment with anti-depressants on DA-receptor sensitivity. Recent experimental evidence, supporting the hypothesis that an inhibition of DA transmission may be associated with depression or to some of its symptoms, is reviewed. The inclusion of numerous study aids such as references, tables, illustrations, chapter summaries, graphs and bibliography make this an excellent supplementary text as well as an up-to-date work of reference.
