Title from t.p. of text volume
The collection of plans reproduced here was acquired by the museum in 1911. It suffered extensive damage, with loss of many plans, in World War II. The extant portions have been reproduced, usually in full size, from the originals; losses have been supplied where possible from photographs owned by the museum or the Institut für Kunstgeschichte of the Universität Würzburg
The portfolio contains a text volume (126 p., 258 p. of plates : ill., plans ; 31 cm.), 14 large sheets (col. plans) rolled together, and 157 flat sheets (ill. (some col.), plans (some col.)), some of which are folded. The flat sheets are the same size as the portfolio, or, in the case of the folded ones, twice its size
