Description
This work, along with its companion volume, "Access to Legal Education and the Legal Professions", has been sponsored by the Commonwealth Legal Education Association (CLEA). The contributors have provided examples of materials and teaching plans currently in use in their own jurisdictions throughout the Commonwealth. The materials collected here represent just some of the full array of lawyers' skills and include, interviewing, counselling (advising), writing, drafting, negotiation, mediation, advocacy, planning, research, investigation and fact-handling. In addition to the contributors, each of the editors has contributed an essay dealing with broader aspects of direct learning and teaching of professional skills.
