This book discusses the rules of evidence and procedure in care proceedings involving child abuse. The theoretical basis of these rules are explained, and their operation in practice indicated. It explains how child abuse is identifid by the various agencies involved, how steps are taken relating to court proceedings and how evidence may be used in these proceedings. Possible areas for law reform are highlighted and discussed.
