内容説明
The text gives a summary of some of the unwanted effects of drugs commonly used in dental practice which may cause an adverse reaction affecting the mouth, or drug interaction between dental drugs prescribed and the patient's own medication. Where possible it aims to give appropriate recommendations. The drugs listed, which may cause reactions, include analgesics, antimicrobials, local anaesthetics, corticosteroids and miscellaneous compounds such as nasal decongestants, chlorhexidine and carbamazepine. This book was written primarily for the dental practitioner and its format is designed for rapid access to the information practitioners need, however it may also be useful for dental students, undergraduates or postgraduates.
