内容説明
Confronting the problem of agricultural pollution, researchers from around the world discuss policies for reconciling agricultural productivity with water quality protection. Although many countries have adopted policies and implemented programs - some incentive-based, and some regulatory - to control agricultural pollution, policy makers are becoming increasingly concerned about conflicts among the goals of environmental protection, agricultural productivity, farm income assistance and international trade competitiveness. The contributors to this book try to identify policies that could reconcile these competing objectives and discuss the research and information programs that are needed to support such policies.
