内容説明

This volume presents recent studies on the biologic importance of chemically or environmentally induced mouse liver tumors to human cancer risk assessment. It examines the mechanisms and scientific controversies surrounding the induction of mouse liver tumors and offers proposals for continued study. Investigators from universities, regulatory agencies, industrial and public interest research groups review and analyze detailed findings on mouse liver carcinogenesis in order to better understand the pertinent mechanisms and their relative importance to humans and other species. The volume addresses mouse liver carcinogenesis at several levels. There are extensive discussions of the cellular, biochemical and molecular events leading to initiation, promotion and neoplastic progression. Investigators evaluate and compare studies that implement varying exposure to chemicals.

目次

  • Detailed Overviews of the Mouse Liver as an Experimental System
