This collection of papers by experts in sub-Saharan industry, finance, and business deals with industrial experience by country. It covers strategic orientations, policy perspectives, adjustment experiences, and the business environment. It also examines entrepreneurship and industrial adjustment in the small-scale sector. Other issues scrutinized include: finance, technology, and public enterprise management and restructuring. The papers are augmented by tables describing the economic indicators and production structure in each country, together with a glossary and a select bibliography.
