Description and Table of Contents
Description
"Geriatrics" has been developed chiefly for internists and family practitioners who want to prepare for the certification examination in geriatric medicine that is being given jointly by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and the American Board of Family Practice (ABFP). This book will also serve as a useful educational tool for physicians who choose to stay abreast of the advances in medical information concerning the geriatric patient. The basic components of the book include more than 500 multiple-choice questions, the correct answers, and detailed explanations of the topics covered in the questions. The questions and explanations have been developed with the intent of providing a broad base of knowledge in geriatric medicine and are grouped into 10 chapters that address important areas of this discipline.
