Description
Students of criminal law require a thorough knowledge of statutory provisions as well as of the cases. Sweet & Maxwell's "Criminal Law Statutes" selects relevant provisions, excludes unnecessary material, and gives students a readily accessible collection of the statutory material they require. The collection is unannotated, making it also suitable for use during examination when permitted. Since the first edition in 1982, Parliament has made many legislative changes which are incorporated in this second edition. The major new material includes: "Child Abduction Act 1984", "Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984", Prosecution of Offences Act 1985", "Public Order Act 1986" and "Criminal Justice Acts" of 1987 and 1988.
