Description
This is an investigation of the entire area of exceptional early ability which draws upon both historical and contemporary examples of child prodigies. The author demonstrates the varied fields in which achievement is possible and considers the role of environment and genetic inheritance. In particular, he stresses the importance of a stimulating environment and of the role of gifted mentors such as parents and teachers.
