How are friendships among poets transformed into poetry, and what effect does this transformation have upon the friendships? This book attempts to answer this question by studying the literary relations of seven poets, comprising five pairs of the English Romantic Period: Blake and Hayley; Coleridge and Wordsworth; Shelley, Byron, and Keats.
