Description
This is a collection of approximately 200 lively games for non-swimmers, beginners and more accomplished swimmers. By adopting a carefully graded approach, they provide suitable activities for building confidence and assisting balance and movement in the water. It also encourages good stroke technique and diving practice. In addition there is advice to parents and teachers on safety measures that should be observed around the pool, how to organize swimming galas and the benefits of using music in lessons. The authors are senior staff tutors of the Amateur Swimming Association.
